Whew! Complete at last. The next step from my previous movie poster based on the first Metal Gear game. This is for Metal Gear Solid as you can see from the title.

Holy crap, this took long! Mostly because I did it every now and then in short sessions. I lost track of the hours.

Most people probably recognize the characters and for those of you who don't, shame on you. Everyone knows this game, and everyone has their own opinion on who should play the characters if a movie was made(it is apparently still in the progress of pre-production). This is my take on the matter.

Main Cast:

Solid Snake - Michael Biehn. As it was in my first poster.
Liquid Snake - Michael Biehn. Du-uh! Clone baby!
Hal Emmerich - Chris Gorham. Just the right mix of pretty boy and geek.
Meryl Silverburgh - Tea Leoni. Possibly because I found such a nice picture of her.
Revolver Ocelot - Lee Van Cleef. Ain't no other! He's always been Ocelot.

I also put some thought on some of the other cast members:

Vulcan Raven - The Rock. Mandatory wrestler/actor.
Colonel Campbell - Richard Crenna. Just like last time.
Mei Ling - Zhang Zhiyi. A pretty asian girl. What did you expect?
Big Boss - SEAN CONNERY! Appearing in flashbacks of course.

I used the corresponding actors as reference as well as some game art. Credit for the Metal Gear REX blueprints in the back go to Yoji Shinkawa.

Done in Illustrator CS3 and Photoshop CS3.

The person who should act as snake should be none other than david hayter, since one he is snake and two he looks alot like him anyway

There will never be a metal gear movie. I love this series, but the games are the movies.

i can't really say if it's true or not. you see i read that on regular wikipedia (since my internet has been blocked from every freaking website except wikipedia by my parents) but, anyway it said metal gear solids creator had seconds thoughts abouts it talking about he didn't want the metal gear franchise to go down the drain if the movie didn't do so good so it was cancelled but im still not sure myself if it really is so i guess we just have to leave it up either fate or luck yah know.

hell yeah, when i found out about it i was really excited but, that was like a year or two ago and i was still waiting. but, yeah i would still like to see a metal gear solid movie, would you.
