Rummaging through my old drawings I found this picture of a troll I made about a year or two ago. It was a school project where we were supposed to make an illustration of a troll from a previous story illustration we had done when we applied to our school.
I really like working with scrapeboard and this was the second time ever I used it so I had fun playing with it. Too bad the boards cost a fortune so it's a rare occasion when I get my hands on some.
I got excited about trolls again so now I'm doing some troll pics, and in the mean time I decided to post this piece that inspired me. I can't remember how long this took me. Could be hours, could be days, not weeks or months.

Great use of the scrape board. The whole character is so well rendered, even the trees on the baground are done with great accuracy. It looks like it's taken from a World of Warcraft promo art. Amazing job!
